1948 Bowman Gum Movie Star 18 Card Lot READ DESCRIPTION

Description: Up for sale is perhaps the oddest non sports cards I've ever encountered along with those Bowman radio and TV cards from the early 50s. It is the 1948 Bowman Movie & TV Stars cards. This lot has 18 cards with duplicates featuring plenty of then up and coming Stars whose careers were largely abandoned not long after it was released. There's also many who became major Stars and others who already had established careers. Included are 4 Adrian Booth(2), 8 Jean Ruth, 9 Sterling Hayden (Jack D Ripper!), 13 Colleen Townshend (2), 15 Cesar Romero (The Joker!), 17 Yvonne De Carlo (Lily Munster!), 22 Mona Freeman (3), 23 Barbara Lawrence, 24 Dan Duryea, 29 Jane Greer(2), 30 Robert Preston, 33 Nancy Guild, 36 Ann Blyth, 18 in all. The cards are mostly mid grade. But a few are low grade. One of the Greer cards is in bad condition, the Preston card has staining, the Barbara Lawrence card is stained, corner of the Jean Ruth card is ripped off. Sterling Hayden card has creasing. There's other cards with visible issues . The photos tell the rest of the story When it comes to vintage nonsports sets, it doesn't get more rare and unusual than this one. Truly unique.
