During World War II Chalfonte-Haddon Hall was renamed Thomas M. England General Hospital in 1942, and became the largest soldiers hospital in the United States. On May 26, 1978, Leeds and Lippincott Company sold the hotel to Resorts International and it was remodeled to become the first Atlantic Citys operating casino. The Resort International Casino is still operating in Atlantic City, NJ. Approximate measurements 2.5" x 2.75" black and white ad suitable for framing.
