Description: Note: Please study the images carefully to determine the condition of this vintage photograph, as it may not be in perfect condition. It may contain wrinkles, cracks, and possibly even tears due to its age and how it was handled before it got to us. A scanner may interpret colors and contrast differently than human eyes will, so it is possible that the actual photograph may be slightly darker or lighter in person. This vintage photograph is offered for sale as a collectible item and conveys no transfer of copyright. 1946 Press Photo Seized Home of William, Emma & Minnie Ritschel, Minneapolis Home in "Cemetery"--Minneapolis, Minn.--Ancient yellow brick home, built in 1881, where William Rischel, 55, and his sisters, Emma, 57, and Minnie, 64, live in seclusion. The Ritschels have been ordered to leave the 75-acre homestead because they haven't paid taxes on the land since 1923 when they incorporated it as a cemetery, tax exempt in Minnesota. But no bodies have been buried on the land, located within Minneapolis city limits. The Ritschels tried to have their father buried there, but were unable to secure license for that purpose. Photo measures 9 x 7 inches. Photo Is dated 1946. PHOTO FRONT PHOTO BACK Historic Images Part Number: nei46784 Sell Smarter with Kyozou.Inventory and Ecommerce Management
