A great collection of US Navy war photos mostly taken by war photographers on board US Navy ships and fighter planes recording the sacrifices of our forces during the active fighting. Also, the landing of the Marines in Okinawa and in other theaters are well documented. The full-page images are in B&W, and at the end of the book each of the 105 photographs are described and the photographers’ names are given.
