Description: 1943 Vista Valley Maddux Ceramic Pink Dogwood Blossoms 3D Wall Décor For consideration is this vintage 1943 ceramic wall piece featuring applied pink dogwood blossoms in a pale green oval ceramic frame. It measures 11 inches long, 9¾ inches wide and 1¾ inches tall. The frame is very nicely embossed with a Victorian-style floral and swag pattern around the edges and inner rim. The wire for hanging could be moved so the piece can be hung in either direction. It is signed “Valley Vista Calif 43” on the back (see photos), indicating the maker and that the piece was produced in 1943. There are no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs noted. Around 1940 he open a small manufacturing plant at 3020 Fletcher Drive in Los Angeles and it is believed that this facility initially operated as Valley Vista Pottery.
