Description: One of the most iconic pictures taken in NY by Helen Levitt in 1942, printed in 1993. This picture was featured in The NY Times review of her late 90’s retrospective(see photos). According to the gallery where I purchased the picture, she was still printing her work. Signed on verso(see photo of provenance)the picture is framed behind conservation glass and has hung in low light for thirty years. Provenance says 11 x 14 but actual image is 7 x 11.
