Description: For sale I have a 1942 Maytag engine that has been rewired to use a 6 volt battery for spark to run . Engine starts and runs good with this system . I have done around a dozen of these Some say this will not work, But You can buy one and prove them wrong . It runs good. The engine was rewired due to the magneto was bad. The battery is just for spark. The engine runs on gas and oil just like the rest Maytags do
