Description: This is a RARE vintage pin-up booklet from the 1940s. Features Zoe Mozert artwork and is a wonderful addition to any collection. 12 pin ups that could be cut out and pinned up along with cartoons. Extra page with a "cover" picture for visitor's day. Complete booklet...all pages intact...no creases or tears. EXCELLENT condition except one note on inside cover to the World War II GI who received it...see pictures. The note inside front cover is written to "Lyman". My research makes me think that this may be Lyman Lemnitzer, a well decorated Army General, Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff and NATO commander who was from Pennsylvania. I cannot prove it but believe that is who it was sent to. Again...I cannot prove that but many dates and locations seem to align. It was a promo item for Betsy Ross Venetian Blinds Compliments of Carey-McFall Co at 2156 E Dauphin St in Philadelphia 25 PA. Printed by Brown & Bigelow in St Paul Minnesota. Book is approximately 5.25" x 4.25" Selling on international websites for much more.
