Description: 1940’s Wedgwood Edme Lidded Cigarette Box / Trinket Box / Vanity Box / Jewelry Box The most aristocratic of Wedgwood's patterns, “Edme” dates back over a century and is characterized by sophisticated Georgian shapes and a design motif drawn from Wedgwood's original 18th century archives. The collection has an earthenware body, and features a smoothly harmonious laurel motif. This box dates to the 1940’s. Though originally used to hold cigarettes, it would be an excellent choice to hold jewelry, trinkets, Q-tips, Hair ties and more! The piece is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. The base of the box is approximately 5 ¼” long x 3 ¾” wide. The piece is 2 ¾” tall at the knob. Feel free to ask any questions about this product by contacting us.
