I discovered a box of glorious & gorgeous yet flawed 1940s evening dresses at a garage sale, and knew that they still had life to live! As you can see from the photos, there are areas where the color has faded from age and improper storage (mostly the shoulders and patches of lighter discoloration on the skirt and on the inner neckline.) There is also some pilling under the arms and a couple areas where the stitching is a bit loose - but it's cosmetic only and could be easily repaired as needed. But LOVE that the sequins are still in tact, and the color is just stunning in person! So, while she's not perfect, she's imperfectly perfect where it matters ;) You can wear this dress as-is and still shine at an event. You can also consider overdying it, or some other vintage magic. It's up to you! She's sold AS-IS and all flaws are reflected in the price.
