1940's Louis Marx & Co. "Royal Coupe" Tin Litho Windup

Description: Offered for sale is this wonderful example of the hard to find "Royal Coupe" lithographed tin windup toy, manufactured sometime in the 1940's by Louis Marx & Co. The toy measures about 9" long and is in excellent condition: the lithographed finish is still bright and shiny, there is light play wear and no dents or other damage, and it retains its original bumper and spare wheel. It is missing the hood ornament, and when tested the the windup mechanism slipped so needs adjustment. Please check the photos carefully (I recommend using the magnifying function) as they do a better job than I can of describing the piece.
