Description: Arden Theatre Manhattan NY Columbus Ave Movie Poster The Stranger 16 x 14 VTG A long forgotten โnabeโ of Manhattanโs Upper West Side, the Arden Theatre was possibly the only movie theatre that ever operated on Columbus Avenue. It opened in 1934. Never more than a late-run house, it became a Spanish language movie theatre around 1952. It was closed around 1958 as a victim of TV competition, and was eventually demolished for the building of the Park West Village apartment complex. Very Interesting Poster. Measures Approx. 16" x 14" - Thin Cardboard Condition is "Used". Please see our condition description & photos and use the photo close up feature to get a good look. Thanks!
