I do not use stock photos or photos of other people’s items.This is one of three original 1940s Anton Michelsen silversmiths "Marguerite Daisy" brooches I am listing today. It was designed in 1940 to honor the birth of Princess Margrethe (Queen Margrethe II 1972-present) and Denmark's national flower the Marguerite Daisy. The design was continued by Georg Jensen after merger with AM in 1985. At the Copenhagen Silver site there are dozens of Jensen Daisy brooches. There are only two Anton Michelsen. All of the brooches here have enamel issues, as do most survivors. A nice AM Daisy brooch with perfect enamel can run over $300. THIS brooch is 2" in diameter. It has a tube hinge and a very fancy locking clasp. It has not been polished. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age. If Free Shipping is offered it will be by the cheapest method possible, for books that will be Media Mail.
