Dr H L (Harry Louis) Bowers was an optometrist at 128 South Fifth Street Las Vegas Nevada also know as Historic Fifth Street Las Vegas Boulevard. As an optometrist he was also President of South Nevada Optometric Association at one time. Great advertising on the case. These are old and would be a great piece of past history from Las Vegas businesses on South Fifth Street. Case is metal and open and closes perfectly. The leather covering on case is worn but still intact. Inside case has a velvet covering which is worn. Name of office is on the case when you open it. The glass is intact on one eye and the other has a piece of glass missing at the top and the hook that secures it. They could be repaired by replacing lenses. They look like a bifocal lens. Small spot on arm that looks discolored and metal nose bridge has small spot that could be repaired. Nose pieces are intact. See photos. Just a great piece of history for display!
