Great embossed imagery on front of a battleship shooting cannons. Box interior features patriotic red, white & blue imagery with no contents. Original thin black ribbon accent piece is still attached & unbroken. A well-designed World War II era item with excellent eye appeal. Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Box has several cardboard edge chips/separations (largest sep. tear being approx. 1/2"). Moderate edge tears with one 4" hairline paper separation on red, white & blue inside design. Name is neatly written on upper front cover in gold ink. Metal snap still operates well. Overall, we feel this scarce wartime item is a pleasing and displayable example by most standards (see photos).
