Description: 1940's Air Brushed Art Deco By TERONE of a Lady in Original Frame/Mirror Mat. This item is in great condition with original mirror mat. There are no breaks in the glass. The mirror does show some age in the silvering. The glass/mirror mat/print measures 18 x 20 inches and the frame measures 19 1/2 x 21 1/2 inches. The frame appears to be original with normal wear. This print is signed by the artist. Alfred T. Terone was born November 23, 1913 in New York, New York. He met his wife Cecelia at New York University. Cecelia was born on July 26, 1916 in New York, New York. Cecelia and Alfred Terone were graduates in the field of art from New York University. The airbrushed pictures were extremely popular for the early 1940's. They were advertised as: "Hand colored Beautytone...especially styled to harmonize with furniture, Draperies, Walls, and floor coverings. Accepted as the recommended fashion for Interior decoration by leading authorities. It's coordinating colors will beautify any room for any period of furniture".
