Description: 1940'S-60'S BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE ISLAND 2 PC DRESS WE SPECIALIZE IN OLDER VINTAGE MOVIE WARDROBE AND HAVE THOUSANDS OF REAL MOVIE WORN ITEMS IN CURRENT INVENTORY! This is a really wonderful two piece Island style dress worn during the 1940's - 1960's. The outfit is done in a blue sheer material with gold and black striping. The top is strapless and fastens at the left side with a metal zipper. The material is pleated horizontally on the entire top. It is fully lined and has stays. The skirt, which has an underskirt done in a buff color crepe, has a flat front. The blue sheer material overskirt has a drape of folded material down the center back as you can see in the pictures. This is EXCELLENT QUALITY and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! This fabulous dress has a label from Western Costume Company in both the top and skirt. This wonderful outfit measures approximately a 32" bust and 24" waist. I would recommend a Professional Cleaning as it was definitely worn in the movies! These are truly a piece of history from The Golden Age of Hollywood!!! All of us at Hollywood Movie Costumes feel very fortunate in being able to bring to auction this fine piece of Hollywood History. All of the items we are putting up for auction were used in the Movies, T.V. or Theater.
