Description: Cunard Line: As found in First Class aboard post-war ships such as the BRITANNIC and MEDIA/PARTHIA sisters, a 9.25" diameter soup plate. Filling the perimeter is Cunard's Greek Key pattern, divided in five places by laurel leaves and oranges. Thin gold lines encircle both sides of the pattern. The pattern was first used in the 1920s. On back is the Cunard logo and the manufacturer's name, Ridgway Potteries of England. The attached photo shows similar china in use on the MEDIA in 1949. Very good condition.
