Description: This tailcoat is a favorite of my collection of vintage garments. In absolutely exquisite condition for being from the year (1940-1948 - hard to discern the tag) this wonderful piece of history has many more years of wear and white tie gatherings to attend. This fits as a 38-40 regular suit jacket would. This was bespoke made back in the 40’s. A very special piece of American history. While I do not have the matching trousers these can be worn with a single galon stripped pair of black wool pants.
