IT MEASURES 2-1/2" IN THE CLOSED POSITION. BOTH BLADES SIT RIGHT IN THE OPEN AND CLOSED POSITIONS AND HAVE SNAP LIKE AN ALLIGATOR. BOTH BLADES SIT IN THE RIGHT POSITION OPEN AND CLOSED AND ARE SHARP AS A RAZOR, SEE PICTURES. THE HANDLES ARE SMOOTH BLACK COMPOSITE WITH BRASS PINS AND BRASS LINERS. THIS ONE IS AS TIGHT AND RIGHT AS THEY COME AND ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND THESE DAYS IN THIS CONDTION.
