One of the absolute identifiers of an actual Mint-Made Rim Clip is the Blakesley Effect, which is a weakening of images on the opposite side of the rim-clip location. The obverse at 12 o"clock reflects the "D WE TR" as a weakening, and mushy strike as would be expected! Another Cent laid inside the curve perfectly matches and confirms the Rim Clip as a Mint-Made product! The 1939-P Wheat Cent has a huge attached lamination field above Lincoln's ear, passing through LIBERTY, and exited to the rim below that lettering. Lamination Errors at the Mint occur when the sheet metal is improperly mixed!
