Description: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs An Illustrated Story Book. Published in 1938 by McLoughlin Bros. This book tells the traditional story of Snow White, not the version presented in the Walt Disney movie. Since the Disney film was released in February of 1938, this book was probably released at about the same time or shortly afterward to cash in on the popularity of the Disney film. This book is in very good condition, especially considering that it's about 85 years old. Front and back covers are still bright with very little to no fading. Light wear along the edges and at the corners of the front cover. Several light wrinkles and creases on the front and back covers. Pages are still tightly attached to the cover. There's a lot of pencil scribbling on the title page, as well as the first and last pages of the book. Although this is a "story" book and not a "coloring" book, someone has colored in many of the drawings; it looks like the child used water color paints and not crayons for the coloring. This book also contains the story of Snow White and Rose Red as well as The Shoemaker and the Brownies. This is a softcover book, about 7.75" X 10" and 48 pages. This is McLoughlin Bros.
