Description: Reproduction of a 1938 Soviet individual package for dressing as carried by medics and individual soldiers. It was used to dress wounds on the battle field and in dressing stations and hospitals. Dressing is just cotton calico rolled up with an outer layer of gauze inside a paper wrapper and label. Copied from an original dressing in my own collection, dressing measures approximately 8 cm x 4.5 cm.
