The book has hundreds of photographs and illustrations complement by detailed text by experts in the field. This is a very interesting book that will supply hours of reading enjoyment! The publication date 1937 is found on the title page. I acquired this book from a private collection. It was gently handled and treasured down through the years. CONDITION: This vintage book is complete and intact, in very good-plus condition for its age as evidenced by the photos. The covers are in very good condition with very light corner wear. The inside covers are in excellent condition, with no cracking or separation present; both boards are firmly attached to the binding. There are no bookplate, writing or markings present on the inside covers or end papers. The pages are in excellent condition, pages are very nice, pages are crisp. All pages are tight to the binding. The pages have a brown gilt on the top edges. The spine is in very good-plus condition with light shelf wear, the lettering is easily read. This is a nice vintage book that will be a nice addition to your collection. This book would also make for a great gift for someone special! (Never to early to think of Christmas!)
