1937 D Walking Liberty Half Dollar, AU+, Rainbow Toned

Of the approximately 41,000+ Walkers listed, only about 140 pieces are listed 1937 D. I shouldn't even try to describe how this coin looks. These are scanned images. If you've read some of my other listings, I sometimes lament that my scanner doesn't show colors vividly. Has cartwheel luster, but not the best I've seen. The coin is very bright white, especially the reverse, and fields are somewhat reflective. This coin was probably in an old folder or album, which created the rainbow toning and dark edges. Appears well struck through the midsection. Note a thin scratch in the lower part of the eagle's left wing. The reeded edge on this coin is very sharp. Who knows, after looking at some of the certified coins, this thing might be uncirculated, but I just can't claim that and I am not that very well-versed in looking at MS Walkers. In places, it just looks to me that there is the slightest rub, primarily on the skirt lines. Maybe those lines weren't well struck. IMO, a very solid specimen that should be certified for preservation and upgraded in value. It's hard to know what the market price is for this coin, there isn't anything like it out there, so I am asking what seems like a ridiculous price and breaking with my practice by allowing offers. We'll see what the marketplace thinks. Don't be shy about making an offer. The worst thing that will happen to you is that I will say no. And, later on, if you had the highest offer, I may contact you to see if you are still interested. I won't be offended by any offer. I have also turned off my policy for allowing returns on this coin because I don't want anybody buying it and improperly handling/damaging it or speculatively buying it to determine if it is uncirculated. I just can't risk this coin falling into the wrong hands. It is unique.
