This photo taken from an American Airlines Airplane piloted by Ray Fortner shows four brush fires sweeping toward big timber in Mountains 15 miles west of San Bernardino, California. A thousand men fought the flames which today had burned over 1500 acres of the Etiwanda and Fontana agricultural watershed. Photo is Dated: September 30, 1936.
