The individuals in the photograph are Albin Johansson, Leland Olds, Jacob Baker, and Charles E. Stuart. All are dressed in suits, adding a formal tone to the moment captured in the summer of 1936. A bicycle is faintly visible behind them, while the signage "kontor" can be seen above the entrance, indicating the office environment.This photograph was taken during a significant historical collaboration between the United States and Sweden. The group was sent by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to study European cooperative systems, especially Swedish cooperatives, which were of interest for their economic models.
