Description: 1935 Original Press Photo.Over a matching frock with collar and cuffs of pale grey taffeta, Fay Wray, the American star, wears this dashing cape of fine smoke grey herring bone tweed in her first Gaumont British picture, "Alias Bulldog Drummond." The roll of astrakhan bordering the cape widens towards the hem and the muff and fur of her cap follow the same theme. Vina Fay Wray was a Canadian-American actress best known for starring as Ann Darrow in the 1933 film King Kong. Through an acting career that spanned nearly six decades, Wray attained international recognition as an actress in horror films. She has been dubbed one of the early "scream queens".
