Description: 1933 World's Fair Chicago CENTURY OF PROGRESS NEW DEAL Souvenir Tray -VERY RARE Of the many souvenir memorabilia from the 1933 World's Fair, this may be one of the rarest ones. It is an embossed copper plate with the dates 1833-1934 at the top. "A Century Of Progress- New Deal" in capital letters around the perimeter. Inside are illustrations of buildings: Old Fort Dearborn, Electrical Building, Hall Of Science, Federal Building, Tower Of Water, Travel & Trans., Sky Ride.Below the illustrations is "let's Go Chicago" over 5 playing cards, Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten with unique illustrations on them.Below that is "Lucky Penny" "Keep me and never be broke" Measures 4" Diameter. Very nice condition, no dents or damage. There are two tiny spots of tarnish. No penny attached. The back side has a paper sticker attached.- it is now blank.
