Description: 1932 legal size penalty cover from USS Black Hawk on Asiatic Station. Nonstandard double circle postmark with stars and "slogan" killer. Black Hawk, AD-9, was a destroyer tender commissioned in 1918 and decomissioned in 1946, with one WWII battle star and 20 years in far east service tending destroyer squadrons 5 and 29.
