The cover has two cancellations on the front reading January 21, 1932 (New Albany, Ind. (1)), and on the reverse, it has three different cancellations reading January 21, 1932 (Indpls. & Low. R.P.O. Lester N. Vandivier), January 22, 1932 (____ & Det. R.P.O), and January 2_, 1932 (Springfield, VT Rec'd). On the reverse, the envelope is closed with a pair of 1931 Christmas seals. The cover is also franked with one 1/2c (Scott #551) and one 10c (Scott #E15) stamp. Clearly, this was a very important letter. The cover is in excellent, clean condition.
