At the bottom of the top piece, it reads CHICAGO 1932 and shows crossed flags. In the center it has a short red, white & blue ribbon that is faded and frayed.. The bottom piece shows the bust of George Washington with the years 1732 - 1932. The medal is 4 1/2 inches long and the top piece is two inches wide.
