Description: Offered is this vintage theater program card from the Capitol Theatre in Macon Georgia. Although the year is not stated on the four page card it is from February, 1932. The three films featured, "Prestige" (starring Macon-born Melvyn Douglas), "This Reckless Age" and "Three Wise Girls", all were released in 1931 or 1932, and the card starts at Monday February 15; Feb. 15 was on a Monday in 1932. In addition to the three main features, also shown were two Laurel and Hardy films and a film of the previous year's Notre Dame vs. Southern California college football game (one of the most famous in USC history). The back of the card features an ad from Rothschild's, a local clothing store. This is a rare find; at the time of original listing I could not find any other theater program cards from this theater or any items from Rothschild's Macon store for sale on eBay. The card is approx. 3 3/4" x 2 1/4". It is in very good condition, with no tears or holes. It has a light vertical crease and has yellowed slightly.
