Scene Description: This is the first picture, taken by permission of the English Admiralty, of the British submarine M-2, the only aircraft carrying submarine in the world. The plane, which is the smallest fighting craft in existence, is catapulted from the submarine deck and on returning from flight is hoisted into it's hangar on the deck by crane. The photo shows the plane being taken from it's hangar to the catapult at Gesport, England on July 22nd, 1931.
