Description: USS Los Angeles (ZR-3) moored to USS Patoka (AO-9), off Panama during Fleet Problem XII, circa February 1931. Los Angeles was built from 1923–1924 by the Zeppelin company in Friedrichshafen, Germany, as war reparation. It was delivered to the United States Navy in October 1924. Used primarily for experimental work Los Angeles was decommissioned in 1932.5x7 inch reprinted photograph.
