Description: ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡Here are two vintage Good Housekeeping magazines from 1934, one published in September and the other in November. They both feature charming cover illustrations by Vernon Thomas and are also stamped on the cover with the NRA eagle logo for the National Recovery Act, one of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal programs. Both magazines are filled with lots of vintage ads and articles on a variety of topics, including 1930s fashions, home decorating, recipe ideas, fiction stories, and more. I've included a photo that shows the Contents page for both magazines, just to give you an idea as to what's inside. The September issue has 220 pages and the November issue has 256 pages. They show signs of vintage wear, mostly on the covers and spine (especially on the back cover of the September issue), and if you put your nose right up to the pages and take a whiff, there is a bit of a 'vintage' smell that to me smells like printer's ink and also faintly of fireplace smoke (since these were stored in an attic). Other than that, they're in good condition for their age with no loose or missing pages and no cut-outs.Together they weigh just under 2 pounds, 8 ounces unpackaged and can go by Media Mail (the cheapest shipping in the US), but please know that can take 1-2 weeks to be delivered, so if you need them quickly, please choose another shipping option at check-out. Will be wrapped with care and mailed within one business day ♡
