Description: This is a very old (1930s) Santa Fe Railroad mechanical pencil. The clip reads Quick Point St Louis. Highlighted on the mechanical is the fleet of 16 “ultra-modern streamlined trains.” The plastic has no cracks and the metal clip and barrel bottom show little wear. The pencil turns, but it does not expel the lead that is showing. It either doesn’t work or needs to be refilled with a longer piece of lead- I’m not familiar enough to know for sure.
