Description: Hi...This beautiful vase is a classic example of folk art design from the 1920s -30s in Czechoslovakia. The dark brown background, almost black color of the vase perfectly complements the intricate designs of six women dancing arm to arm, encircling its sides. Made of redware, clay earthenware, this vase is a unique piece of historical art pottery that will decorate and bring life into any space. The vase features an incised bottom signature of the maker. This piece represents the folk and indigenous style of the region, prewar, and is very sort after by collectors because not many of these beautiful pieces survived.
