Description: This 4 x 6" photo been produced from my original old negatives of Meade View Company postcards, a company that sold real photo postcards of numerous Maine towns and views in the 1920's, 1930's, and early 1940's. What you see is exactly what the postcard looked like, only better, since we cleaned up the negative, sharpened the image, and printed it with glossy format on quality photo paper. Please note that the photo is printed from a .tif file, much sharper than .jpg or gif. file. This view is of the new wharf at Cape Porpoise, Maine, built in 1941. Wonderful scene of the Porpoise Restaurant, (now Pier 77, great food!), the clam shack, and old autos. Great 1940's scene, perfect for framing! Please see out other Maine vintage photos on Ebay and in our Ebay Store, Paper Emporium. Email with questions before bidding. Many thanks for looking!
