Description: I HAVE MANY DOLLS, antique dolls, dollhouse items, AND related ITEMS FOR SALE. I DO COMBINE ON SHIPPING. SMOKE FREE HOME. LOOK AT THIS AMAZING SET!!!!!!!! Circa 1930's from my best guess. Included are 30 handmade FIRST LADY DOLLS. I think these are made of papier mache and all are mounted on bases. The dolls are about 12-13 inches tall. Each has hand painted faces, molded hair, sewn on clothes. A woman named LULU GRIGER made these and included are: PICS OF THE DOLLS IN THE STRONG MUSEUM, A PIC OF MRS. KRIGER WITH THE DOLLS, ORG. SKETCHES WITH DETAILED COSTUME SPECS, HAND PRINTED NAME CARDS FOR EACH DOLL, A PIECE OF SHEET MUSIC, A FIRST LADY DRESSES BOOK, A LETTER FROM THE 1930'S, A BLUE 1939 FIRST PLACE RIBBON, AND MORE!!! Overall, the dolls are good. There are a few with repaired necks, one that has to have her head reattached, clothes have fading and some are melting, shredding, etc....due to age, some have molded legs, while others are mounted on sticks with bases. Martha Washington is seated and the only one that is like this. All of the dolls have stickers on their bases identifying who each one is and the term their husbands were in office. Some dolls have molded necklaces, shoes, while other hold accessories such as books, a purse, an umbrella. ONE OF A KIND SET THAT IS ALMOST 100 YEARS OLD!!!
