Description: This beautiful house coat is French and I date it to around the1930s ~ This wonderful purple plaid garment is a medium to heavy weight cotton fabric. There are two pockets and waist ties on the front, such gorgeous details on this lovely tunic! The small scale patter is lovely. This house dress is idea for stage costume , but would be super cute worn too! There are some holes in this textile and its faded unevenly in place. The side has a large mended area , perhaps was a large hole and someone stitched it closed.
