Description: This plat map is from a 1928 Plat Book of Kalamazoo County Michigan published by The Thrift Press Map Makers Rockford Illinois and Glen C. Wheaton Civil Engineer and Surveyor Kalamazoo Michigan. This is a very nice color map that contains interesting information including the property owners names and acreage, schools, cemeteries, and different items of interest. There are 23 different maps in this book covering the city. These two maps are back to back on a single page measuring 15" x 17¾". I will do my best to describe the area that each map covers. One map covers an area bordered by Cooper St to the north, River Rd to the east, E Mosel to the south, and N Westnedge to the west and the other covers an area in the vicinity of Alamo Ave and Ravine Rd. The photo showing the legend and year of publication is from a different page and is not Included in this auction but is shown for your verification purposes.
