Description: 1928 lincoln wheat cent dual mint error coin. This coin has a class 6 doubled die obverse which shows as nice extra thickness on all of the obverse devices. This variety can be found attributed on coppercoins.com listed as 1928P-1DO-002. The reverse has a very nice sized detached lamination peel due to an improper alloy mixture in the planchet. It appears to me that this lamination occurred prior to the strike. I came to this conclusion because you will notice the lamination appears to go right behind the letter "E" in the word ONE and the right wheat ear appears to be all there. So it looks to me that there was a lamination then the strike took place after that peeled off of the planchet which explains why the letter E is still all there. Please use your own judgement in determining this coins condition as well as verifying the errors I have attributed. Thanks for looking.
