Description: An ORIGINAL 20cm by 13cm Expenses Receipt from Tottenham Hotspur FC dated 22nd June 1926 HAND SIGNED by an F C Thorpe as shown for the sum of One Pound. From other items this was originally with I believe F C Thorpe suffered a bad hand injury whilst playing for Tottenham Hotspur ( possibly the reserves ) and the Club were helping him out with ex-gratia payments with this receipt being an example. This would make a great addition to any Football collection having originally been among a collection of vintage Tottenham Hotspur paperwork & ephemera I acquired some years ago at a major Sports Memorabilia auction Original horizontal and vertical fold creases and punch holes to top edge and some slight outer edge age tanning but otherwise very good condition.
