Description: 1926 Spalding Champions Urban Shocker -- PSA 9 Baseball -- New York Yankees. Low Population. Graded MINT 9 by PSA. This rare card is one of only two PSA 9s with the next highest grade being a PSA 8. Only six total examples have been encapsulated in all conditions. Virtually impossible to find in this grade/quality. This card comes directly from the family of the original owner, who accumulated a small hoard of 1926 Sports Company of America (aka Spalding "Champions of Sport") unopened packs. As such, it originated from the only significant group of high-grade 1926 Spalding Champion cards ever discovered (about 20 years ago) and includes both the original scrip card and small, card-sized envelope. Be careful of other, high-grade examples--no other 1926 Spalding cards, outside of this group, have the same, solid provenance.
