Description: This little hard cover bridal book entitled Bridal Blossoms was discovered at the Los Angeles estate of the late character actress Kathleen Freeman (career going back to the 50's...The Seven Year Itch, Singin' In The Rain, The Fly, The Disorderly Orderly, Blues Brothers and MANY MORE). It documents the marriage between her parents, Franklyn (Frank) Freeman and Jessica Dixon, well known Vaudeville actors. It's a rare record of their wedding that took place in Los Angeles on May 1, 1922. Witness signatures include BETTY BURBRIDGE, American screenwriter and actress best known for her Western screenplays, and A. HERROLD DeGROSSE, listed in Who's Who in Music as a Pacific Coast musician. One of the guests was Violet Shannon Hoadley, wife of screenwriter Hal (Harold William) Hoadley. Love the gift list including "Pink Silk Bloomers!". The little Bridal book was Published by C.R. Gibson & Co., Wedding Day Publications, New York City.
