Description: This is a Moran & Hastings of Chicago 1920s schoolhouse light fixture. It was from salvage then restored. Its old glass 16" by 9" is without chips or cracks. This fixture has had all the brass cleaned and clear seal (this keeps brass from tarnishing), new high quality brass light socket, new UL Approved cloth covered wire to match original, one 60-watt equivalent LED Bulb. This bulb was chosen because it does a great job of lighting up globe, mounting hardware for modern electrical boxes for easier installation. Some measurements: From ceiling to bottom of globe 27", milk glass globe 16" dia. by 9" (6" fitter) tall, canopy 5" dia. and chain 6". Please check photos as they are a large part of description.
