Description: Here is an original to the era, 1920's styled electric wall sconce light fixture. A free hanging domed lightbulb socket attached to a bracket arm from a wall mounted oval convex cover plate, all made of non magnetic brass. The hanging socket underside opening bezel has an impressed floral banding decoration. Beautiful when new, this example is covered in two layers of paint and needs total restoration to be fully enjoyed for its impressive well crafted vintage design. Most of these architectural relics have been lost, scrapped during the war years and after. Back plate 8 inch high, 4 5/8 inch wide, arm extension to end 5 1/4 inch, top arm to bulb socket 5 1/4 inch. No cracks, dent, physical damage. Large screw at center of cover wall plate, not included.
