Description: Hello, you're looking at a vintage black amethyst stick/bud vase from around the 1920s. It was made by the Maryland Glass Company and looks opaque black from the outside and a deep purple when holding it up to the light. It is about 9.5 inches tall, and the base diameter is about 2.75 inches. The top opening is about an inch wide. It has handpainted flowers on a glossy black background in the front and the same glossy black on the other sides. Photo 6 shows the glass with the amethyst effect from a flashlight shining through from the bottom. Condition-wise it is in good to very good to vintage condition. The bottom and sides of the base have a few small imperfections and the ring around the base is discolored. (See photos 7-8)
