There is a small indention at top to be used as a perfume reservoir. When a few drops of perfume are placed in the well, the heat from the bulb enhances the scent. Etched "Robj / PARIS" near the base of the art glass shade, as shown. Complete, with original wrought iron base, with hand wrought flame arms securing the glass. Measures 3 5/8" in diameter, and stands 4 7/8" tall. Displays beautifully, and in excellent condition, with no damage or signs of use. No chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines, stains, crazing, or repairs. Electrical cord is original, with European plug and inline on/off push button. (I have included am adapter so the lamp can be used as-is in the US.) For safety, I would recommend having the socket and cord replaced for extended use. GUARANTEED TO BE ANTIQUE circa-1920's, and NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION.
